This lensplate enables the use of #0 lenses with a shutter of irregular size, such as a Phase One X-Shutter. It's also the preferred choice for focal lengths longer than 100mm.

The practical use of lenses may be limited to those that can move freely in front of the bayonet of the camera body being used.
