Credo FireWire 800 DC plug

The Mamiya Leaf FireWire 800 DC plug is designed to provide continuous power to the Leaf Credo digital back, when used for instance in a copy stand setup.
With this plug installed and powered from the standard Mamiya Leaf battery charger power supply, it is now possible to connect the computer to the Credo digital back via USB, and have power supplied through the FireWire connection at the same time – thus you will not have to change the battery in the digital back from time to time.

Battery Charging: In the Credo’s Power Management menu, “Battery Charging” should be set to “Fast” [Setup > Power Management > Battery Charging > Fast]
In this setting charging from FireWire or USB will be enabled. If the DC plug is inserted and connected to a mains outlet, the USB charging will be disabled, so that power from e.g. a laptop battery, does not drain. If present, FireWire power charging is used by default.
